My passion for photography is the result of another hobby; viz. mining and mineralogy. I quickly discovered that both were not easy disciplines (light conditions, macro photography,...) and that further training was necessary.
Nature photography was ideal to get to know the camera and the different techniques better.
Of course, the interests grew…portraits, architecture, travel and street photography to name only a few. Concert, dance and circus followed later; the more difficult photography.
We have now arrived in 2023 and judge for yourself by taking a look at my portfolio...
After all, photography is more than pressing a button and it is a very intensive and expensive activity. Equipment costs money (camera, pc, software...) but also it takes a lot of time. The digital finishing of an image is just one example. Photography is and remains an art in which everyone should be able to express their artistic freedom. For me, quality over quantity.
